The Albanese Labor Government announced 11 new Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics on 14 November 2025, expanding specialised care for women and girls in regions and outer suburbs. The new clinics bring the total to 33 nationwide and form part of the government's Women's Health Package, which is investing almost AUD $800 million in improved healthcare for women and girls.

The clinics will open by early 2026 and provide multidisciplinary services for endometriosis and pelvic pain. All 33 clinics will now also support women experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms. Endometriosis affects at least one in seven Australian women, often causing chronic pain and fertility issues, with many facing an average seven-year delay in diagnosis. Pelvic pain is estimated to cost the Australian economy AUD $6 billion annually.

  • 11 new clinics announced, bringing total to 33 nationwide
